The article is devoted to the topic of pedagogical and psychological foundations of increasing the professional and creative activity of students in fine arts lessons, and analyzes the ways and methods of increasing the creative activity of students in fine arts lessons. The importance of art in pedagogical processes, the psychological foundations of developing students' creative potential, as well as the methodological approaches of teachers in teaching art are studied in depth. This article is aimed at developing effective pedagogical methods for increasing the professional and creative activity of students in fine arts lessons, and provides important theoretical and practical recommendations.
