Abstract

This article explores the diverse distribution of microorganisms across various natural environments and substances. It examines the ecological roles of microorganisms in soil, water, air, and living organisms, as well as their presence in man-made materials and extreme environments. The study highlights the adaptive capabilities of microbes, their interactions with other organisms, and their significant impact on biogeochemical cycles. Emphasis is also placed on the methods used to identify and study microbial populations in different ecological niches.
